WHY IT WORKS

A Different Kind of Co-Parenting Support

Most co-parenting resources are court-mandated, therapy-based, or buried in legal complexity. Nicole's approach is structured, educator-led, and grounded in real child development research — designed to meet families where they are.

Educator-Led, Not Legal or Therapy-Based

Practical, approachable guidance that doesn't require a courtroom or a clinical setting — just clarity and the right tools.

Rooted in Child Development Principles

Every recommendation is made with your children's developmental needs at the forefront — not just adult convenience.

Customized for Your Family

No templates, no generic worksheets. Your plan reflects your family's specific dynamics, schedules, and goals.

Focused on Long-Term Success

We build lasting frameworks — not quick fixes — so families continue to thrive well beyond our sessions together.

Calm, Neutral, Structured Guidance

As an educator (not an attorney or therapist), Nicole brings an objective, child-first perspective to every conversation.

FAQs

We Address Your Essential Queries

What exactly does a co-parenting specialist do?
A co-parenting specialist helps parents develop practical plans, communication strategies, and conflict-reduction tools to support their children's well-being after separation or divorce. It's not therapy and it's not legal counsel — it's structured, educator-led guidance focused on the children.
Do both parents need to participate?
Not necessarily. While co-parenting sessions with both parents are often most effective, individual consulting is also available. Many parents begin with one-on-one sessions and later bring in the other parent when the timing is right.
How is this different from therapy or mediation?
Nicole is an educator, not a licensed therapist or attorney. Co-parenting specialist work is educational and coaching-oriented — focused on building practical tools, frameworks, and plans. It complements therapy and legal counsel but does not replace either.
How soon can I expect to see changes?
Many families notice a shift in communication and tone within the first two or three sessions. Building a full co-parenting plan typically takes four to six sessions depending on complexity. The focus is always on sustainable change, not temporary relief.
Are sessions available virtually?
Yes. All sessions are available virtually via video call, making it easy to participate from anywhere in the U.S. Virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person work and offer the flexibility that busy co-parenting schedules often require.
What if our situation is very high-conflict?
High-conflict situations are one of Nicole's areas of specialty. The approach focuses on de-escalation, structured communication, and tools that reduce direct interaction when needed — creating space for stability to grow over time.
